I'm Furious. Here's Why . . .

I’m Paul Humbert. I’m the son of immigrants, a husband, a father, an attorney, and a
businessman. My parents came to this country because America offered something
precious: freedom, opportunity, security, and the chance to build a better life through
hard work.
I’m running for Bernards Township Committee because I’m furious about what is
happening to New Jersey.
Democrats control Trenton, and their policies are making our state less affordable, less
safe, and increasingly difficult for working families, seniors, and small-business owners.
Taxes continue to rise. State mandates override the wishes of local communities. A
broken school-funding formula shortchanges towns like ours. Policies such as cashless
bail weaken public safety, while families are expected to accept higher costs, greater
government control, and fewer choices.
But the greatest threat goes beyond any individual tax, mandate, or policy. It is the
gradual breakdown of the society that made my family’s American dream possible.
A strong society depends on public safety, personal responsibility, respect for the law,
strong families, excellent schools, thriving businesses, and government that remains
accountable to the people. When those foundations are weakened, everyone pays the
price.
People across New Jersey are doing everything right. They’re working hard, raising
families, paying their taxes, supporting their communities, and trying to build secure
futures. Yet many are still falling behind because the government continues to spend
more, regulate more, and demand more from the people it is supposed to serve.
I refuse to accept that as normal!
I’m running because Bernards Township needs a leader who will protect taxpayers, fully
support our police, oppose harmful state mandates, fight for fair school funding,
preserve the community we love, and demand accountability from every level of
government.
This is a choice about the direction of our town and the kind of society we will
leave to our children.
I’m ready to fight for Bernards Township, stand up to Trenton, and defend the values
that have made our community and our country strong.
