Did you know that some people in Bernards don’t seem to really support our police?

I am sure some Democrats believe that our police should not carry guns and should remain unseen until a crisis occurs.

I believe in community policing and want our police to be a visible part of our community. I believe Democrats running for Township Committee should affirmatively state their support for our police.

This should be part of every candidate’s platform . . . fully funding and staffing our police and first responders.

Why don’t Democratic candidates for Township Committee state publicly that they stand by our police? You already know the answer.
