Did you know that New Jersy suffers from a YUUUGE structural deficit?
A structural deficit is a persistent, long-term imbalance where a government’s ongoing spending exceeds its revenue, even when the economy is operating at full capacity. Unlike cyclical deficits, which disappear when the economy recovers, structural deficits are caused by fundamental fiscal policies, such as entitlement spending or insufficient taxes , and do not self-correct. This represents a mismatch between permanent spending and revenue, rather than temporary, one-off fa

Did you know that NJ’s total long-term obligations rose to $209.4 billion as of April 2026, a 4% year over year increase?
Bonded debt stands at $38.6 billion. Even worse, non-bonded debt stands at roughly $170 Billion, a staggering amount.. And those non-bonded liabilities—primarily unfunded pensions and healthcare benefits—continue to grow creating long-term fiscal pressure. In addition, New Jersey faces a projected $3 billion structural deficit by FY 2027 as one-time federal funds and debt prevention reserves are depleted. This fiscal disaster affects and will continue to affect every single

Did you know that there are some people in town (Democrats) who want Bernards to be declared a sanctuary city for individuals in this country illegally?
I ask our democratic candidates for Township Committee to publicly state they will not declare Bernards a sanctuary city for individuals who have disrespected both our laws and every immigrant who has come, and wants to come, to this country legally. My parents immigrated to the United States after World War 2, legally, and became naturalized American citizens by following the rules of their adopted country. Shouldn’t everyone? Once elected , I will be the representative for

Did you know that some people in Bernards don’t seem to really support our police?
I am sure some Democrats believe that our police should not carry guns and should remain unseen until a crisis occurs. I believe in community policing and want our police to be a visible part of our community. I believe Democrats running for Township Committee should affirmatively state their support for our police. This should be part of every candidate’s platform . . . fully funding and staffing our police and first responders. Why don’t Democratic candidates for Township

Did you know that the Somerset County Jail is essentially closed?
Is that because all the criminals have become good citizens? Or maybe they just moved away? Nope. Our County jail is empty because of how Democrats view crime and refuse to change the cashless bail system that allows criminals to retun to the streets. Our criminal justice system has become a revolving door. Just ask anyone in law enforcement….privately they will tell you that the process is arrest, repeat and release. How demoralizing for our police officers. How sad that c

Did you know that more of your property tax dollars are sent to pay for the Democrat controlled Somerset County government than are spent in town?
Yep. Check your property tax bill. Most goes to pay for the schools of course, but a whopping 17.4 cents out of every tax dollar goes to the County, compared to the 15.3 cents the town keeps. Of course, Bernards Democrats are just fine with this arrangement. After all, it’s all about them keeping control of the Somerset County Government . . . and your property tax dollars are helping them do that. There is a Primary election coming up early June - choose wisely. Vote for th
