A Letter of Endorsement from Vanathi Raghupathy

Dear Bernards Township Residents,

During this year’s Republican primary, Paul Humbert and I were both seeking the opportunity to

serve our community on the Township Committee. Campaigns naturally highlight differences,

but they also reveal a great deal about a person’s character, judgment, and commitment to public

service.

Throughout the campaign, I came to know Paul as someone who genuinely cares about Bernards

Township and the people who call it home. He brings valuable experience in business and law, a

strong understanding of the challenges facing our town, and the determination to stand up for

residents when Trenton’s policies threaten our affordability and local decision-making. He and I

share common values including love of family and community.

Paul understands that families are concerned about rising taxes, public safety, overdevelopment,

and state mandates that place additional burdens on our community. He has been clear about his

commitment to responsible spending, fully supporting our police, protecting the charm of

Bernards Township, and keeping our local government accountable to the taxpayers.

Most importantly, Paul is willing to listen, ask difficult questions, and work with people who

may not always agree with him. That is the kind of thoughtful, selfless, independent leadership

our Township Committee needs.

Township residents to vote for him this November.
